great news about cspecs
We don't have to submit the document c-specs this week, we can take our time, it's just the presentations that Prof Fawcett is looking for. So everyone keep coding and may the integration be with you.

be calm test team
Dear Sriram,
I wasn't saying you guys weren't working, I was trying to make everyone work faster so your work can flow better; just writing it in a better way than you but saying the same thing. Don't take it personal, and please before criticizing the other team's leads, keep your tone a bit down. Everyone is working on this with their hearts on and the least we need is another team leader publicly criticising the other's work.
Please be considerate the others' work and appreciate it as much as you do yours. I don't want to make discussion go further so if you have any doubts or anything, please reply to me by mail.
cheers and love to all my members and leaders.
Today's meeting
Was really good to solve the issues, we will meet again at the same time, first in Madlab and then move to studio break.
So now Vijay tonight will post the XML format, and everything should be clear.
Base64 encoding will be done in Repository and RT Client for files.
Testbed's meeting with Prof Fawcett will resolve some issues too.
And we discussed some other internal issues.
and for everyone:
We are still discussing designs here, team leaders should talk to their team members and make them, help them to finish the coding phase! Test Team and the whole project is stalling and you know that CSpecs should have been ready for Friday, but it doesn't seem like so.
So everyone please with any problems, come to the meetings, discuss the issues and keep working on the problems; after the xml format being clear, everyone should work in speed of light. We have an integration to catch!!!!
good luck and see you.
issues
I am already planning to make a meeting this week, because I feel like VJ is going from one place to another, and there are too many issues around that keep on getting discussed. I am planning to talk to vijay too and want to get a meeting where all of us can discuss and resolve the issues
Team Leaders please write a combination of resolved/unresolved issues IMMEDIATELY to the blog. Prof Fawcett wants to see them here.
Last issues raised in the review:
Comm team:
-base64 2 times? not so ok.
ravi:what to do with cache? lru maybe?
Repository:
-backup?
-directory issue-> resolved. will be left as is.
-closed=readonly
RT client:
-routing issue
-registry is not such a good idea
-right click-> move to local cache
Test:
-grouping of test so that we won't do same things(SRIRAM please sit with your team member about this)
-Repository should check out comm team's tests, might overlap both.
Please get your cspecs ready for Friday, and I will post the ppt's today, ANYONE WHO DIDN"T SEND PPTS I am promising to come and get it from your house at 2 am in the morning.
So my plan is meeting tomorrow at 6; any questions and concerns about the meetings or suggestions _should_ be sent to the listserv since this blog is to discuss mostly design issues and project related discussions.
